Win a Blood Raven Mount, Feedback Friday, and Feature Post Announcement

You heard right, I'm giving you the opportunity to win a permanent Blood Raven Mount! You might call the Blood Raven priceless, because you really can't buy one, you've got to buy pack after pack with a chance to get it. With this mount, two people can take advantage of the 40% speed boost, and receive the effects of collected wisps. You don't have to worry about being separated or dragged into a battle alone, either.

To win, you'll have to find me in-game in the World of Dragonspyre next week! The contest will be hosted via Wizard101 Central to maximize potential winners, but blog readers will receive a special encrypted hint as to where I am! The realm will be announced at the beginning of the search-and-find... or for some of us, just search. Keep an eye out for my post on Wizard101 Central regarding the contest and time!

This past Friday, we encountered another episode of Feedback Friday! Here's Falmea's message for this week:

Another week has passed, and this one has a three day holiday weekend at the end of it! Hooray! Before we go, however, it's time for a new Feedback Friday.

Standard disclaimer applies: We do not guarantee to use each and every idea submitted, and questions we pose may or may not be pertaining to things we are currently working on, or will ever undertake. Sometimes, there are just technical limitations that make changing things difficult to impossible, and though we possess all manner of magic wands here, there are technological beasts out there that are beyond our grasp. Sometimes, we may not feel it is within the spirit and vision of the spiral to add or change something. Also, we realize that some of these topics may have been addressed before in other threads - sometimes it's good to pick up a discussion again. Chances are I have read your threads and would like to hear more!

So, you may have seen that on the Test Realm, we're testing out a new Housing game - Tag. When I've been able to jump in matches, it's been a LOT of fun (I even won a few!). I'm excited to see it on Live game later this year! ::grin::

We're curious, for future consideration, what else sounds like fun? What other housing game would you add?

Have a great weekend Wizards!

I had a feeling that we'd be getting more than one housing game, and now KingsIsle is looking for suggestions! Before reviewing any of the responses, here were a few of my ideas:

1. Hide-and-Seek Game! A minimum of two players are needs for this game, three for the Wildfire version. The person who starts the game turns into the typical Gobbler in regular mode and locates players as quickly as possible, with several of the usual power-ups. In the Wildfire version, anyone who is found becomes a Fire Elf and then join the seeker in the quest to find everyone. The game lasts for a set amount of time, and if the time runs out while someone is still hiding, all of the remaining hiders, or one hider if that's the case, win(s). If all players are found before the time runs out, the tagger(s) is/are the winner(s).

2. Racing Game! At least two players are needed for this game. This game is not a box like the tag game, but a long pad separated into squares. When a player steps on a square, they are locked into place and their square lights up. When at least the required number of players have stepped onto the pad, and the fifteen second timer runs out, all players will be released, and five stars will appear in random places inside and outside the house. When a player locates a star, they can choose to "Tag" it or "Grab" it. If they tag the star, it stays in place and they move on. If they grab the star, it teleports to another random location. You might tag a star if it's in a secluded place that will be difficult to find. You might grab a star if someone is trailing behind you. The first person to touch their five different stars and return to the mat wins.

Hide-and-seek seemed to be a pretty popular one. Other games like Freeze Tag, or a game where people are randomized and transformed into creatures, and someone has to guess who is who. Other ideas included Fishing, Capture the Flag, Giant Chess, Scavenger Hunts, and even Scuba Diving... sounds like more of an activity, though!

Our next feature post is coming up, and I want you to be a part of it! Check out the Discussion Thread at http://www.wizard101central.com/forums/showthread.php?p=3329487, and read Diana's featured post at http://dianawildheart.blogspot.com/2012/01/pvp-passing-good-or-bad.html!

Thanks for reading, and see you in the Spiral!
