The Missing Pet Mystery: Conclusion Note (And Community Manager Appreciation Day!)

The Missing Pet Mystery has been ongoing for some time, and existed as one of my more in-depth contests in the community - that I'm happy about. However, as many of you know, I had some unexpected complications that occupied most of my November and December, and now, January hasn't slowed down for me.

The Missing Pet Mystery will officially come to a close on February 3rd, 2013, at 11:59 PM CST. The story may return for a future contest, so don't be discouraged if you're still wondering who the thief is!

An important note: If you have not received a reply at this point from Swordroll or Daring Dave Hawkins for either Part 1 or 2, your email has probably been buried - please email again as a reminder. However, I'd advise some of you to check out your inboxes, as I've replied to many emails and received no response myself.

Shortly after the closing of the contest (within a day or two), winners will be announced. There is still time to enter Parts 1 and 2 and grab some entries - I highly recommend it!

And now, a special announcement - today is Community Manager Appreciation Day!

Here's a shout-out to the best community managers ever - Professor Greyrose, One-Eyed Jack, and Emy Anemsalok!

It might not seem like it at times, but many of us know just how much you do behind the scenes to keep the community top-notch. Your work has positively influenced so many people - keep up your fantastic work!

Thanks for reading, and see you in the Spiral!
