Level 140+ Karamelle Crafted Gear | Wizard101

Karamelle has arrived on the Test Realm and with it comes new level 140+ gear! This crafted gear is a continuation of a trend in Empyrea in which crafted offerings for gear are very competitive with other pieces. Let's take a look!

The Recipes

If you drop by Johann's recipe shop in Karamelle City, you can check out a bunch of new craftable gear for level 140+ wizards. Wizards who have reached level 140 and earned the title "Cosmic" will be able to use this gear. You'll also need to have earned the "Revered Crafter" rank to buy the recipes for this gear.

All of the recipes require treasure cards for the six-pip shadow spell of the associated school as well as perfect gems, also based on the school of the gear. Where things get interesting is with the other reagents - you'll need Pretzel Sticks and Karamelle Chunks. I have completed the world up to the spoiler wall and I have yet to receive any of these. They might all behind the wall, or perhaps they haven't been added yet.

The last thing you'll need is a piece of gear which we haven't seen yet. It'll likely be dropped behind the spoiler wall. Although it lists a specific piece of gear, if it works like the level 130+ crafted Empyrea gear, you can get any pair of boots to use to craft your school's pair of boots, and likewise with the other items.

The Gear

If this gear works like crafted gear in Empyrea, it'll likely be very comparable to the best available dropped gear in the world. While it's unlikely that all of the gear will be worth using, there will certainly be some items worth having. The boots, for example, will be a direct upgrade from the Paradox gear. Notably, the amulets offer an item school blade which comes pre-enchanted with Aegis and is protected from a first removal attempt.
