Wizard101's latest pack is out now - the Karamelle Souvenirs Pack has a bunch of goodies from the game's latest world. On top of gummy bunny mounts and brand new lederhosen gear, you'll find new Karamelle furniture items. Check out everything you can get from this pack!

Karamelle Souvenirs Pack: What's Inside

At the usual price of 399 crowns, the Karamelle Souvenirs Pack offers the usual variety of items - three new mounts, three new gear sets, and three new wands. On top of that, it's got a bunch of miscellaneous filler items, but at least some of those are new housing items from around the world of Karamelle.

Gummy Bunny Mounts

There are three new gummy bunny mounts available from the Karamelle Souvenirs Pack. They offer the standard 40% speed boost. While these are cool, they're some of the least original mounts in a pack that I can think of, period. There have been some mounts in less exciting packs in the past which used existing models, but even those had new textures, effects, and overall looks. And most of the best packs have completely unique mounts with their own models. 

Apple Brudel Pets

These Apple Brudel pets are a great Karamelle-themed companion. The difference between them is a little bit difficult to pick out as the only aesthetic difference seems to be the color of the apple slices on their back. Again, not a new model or texture, but a fitting pet for the pack.

Lederhosen Gear

The gear is where we see some new models and textures introduced for the first time. These gear sets, fitting for Karamelle, offer decent stats overall. I do think the boots will be something to look at. They offer damage that is comparable to many other top-tier offerings and some pretty nice resistance. They do, however, sacrifice power pip chance in favor of accuracy.

Licorice Whip Wands

These weapons are one of the very few whip-style wands available for the game. In fact, the only other one that comes to mind is the Abyssal Eel Whip. In fact, there's a glitch where the idle whipping animation on the character screen will turn the licorice whip into that one. These wands are pretty cool, though their stats aren't the most impressive.

Karamelle Furniture & Other Items

When you're not scoring some of the main goodies, don't worry - you won't be subject to only filler items. There are also a bunch of new furniture items up for grabs as well. These all come from Karamelle - they're pretty much directly lifted out of the environments, in fact - and can be used in your homes.

Pack Analysis

The Karamelle Souvenirs Pack has a pretty alright structure which has evolved a little bit from some past packs. Gear is rolled in the 4th and 7th slots (a lot of the most notable items tend to appear in those slots) and new furniture items can appear in any slot, meaning there's always a chance to get something worthwhile.

The Verdict

The structure of the Karamelle Souvenirs Pack is solid and items drop at a satisfactory rate. The addition of the furniture items and even some shadow spell TCs makes this a good pack overall. However, pulling mobs directly for the mounts and pets hurt the overall appeal of the pack in my opinion. If you're interested in some of the items - primarily for cosmetic purposes - give it a try!
