The Sinbad & the Iron Sultan Gauntlet is the newest dungeon in Wizard101. Instead of being included in a bundle, it's available for purchase from the Wizard101 website or can be crafted in game using reagents from the Sinbad Hoard Pack. Here's what you can expect in the gauntlet!
Getting the Gauntlet
This gauntlet is unique in the two ways that it's available. Your first option is to purchase it on the Wizard101 website, along with 7500 crowns, for $39. You don't get anything else, though the gauntlet does drop some new items available from the Sinbad Hoard Pack. Your second option is to buy the Sinbad Hoard Pack and collect clay reagents to craft it. The recipe and transmutes are available from the vendor in the Shopping District.
As usual, you can use someone else's gauntlet, but you'll need to be friend with them. Gauntlets accessed via house tours or castle games cannot be used by just anyone. Even if you teleport to someone in the house, you may still be unable to use the gauntlet without being friends with the owner, who is not required to join you when you go in.
The Umpteenth Voyage of Sinbad
Like with past gauntlets, this one has multiple tiers, which I believe are at every 20 levels up through level 100. The gauntlet will be set to the level tier of the lowest-level wizard entering with your group. Drops like the housing items and pets from the Sinbad Hoard Pack are available at every level, so bring a low-level characters if you want to farm those. Gear from the pack is also dropped, but since the highest level tier is 100+, the highest level of gear you can get is also 100+, not 130+. (A note: several people have reported receiving level 130+ gear. I have not been able to confirm these reports.) This guide covers the highest level gauntlet.
You'll start out on a quest with Sinbad to locate and remove Hari Houssen from the island of Metallos. Sinbad, however, is more interested in acquiring the Iommi Stone. Once he's recruited you for his quest, you'll sail to the island, where you're immediately met by some metallic monsters.
Fight #1: Metaltaur
The first fight of the gauntlet is the Metaltaur. As usual, the number of these enemies will vary based on how many players you enter the gauntlet with. This is a straightforward fight, so have at it! Note that because these are ice creatures, they can use Tower Shield.
Fight #2: Chromeclops
At this point, you can break for the secret boss (or to see if he even spawned) if that's what you're here for. Skip down to that section as needed. Note that you can go back and fight the secret boss up until you defeat the Iron Sultan. Then you will be unable to re-enter the caves. Further more, you'll see the next set of enemies - Chromeclops!
Fight #3: Steeleton
This is the third of four fights in the gauntlet (not including the secret boss). This is another straightforward battle, so proceed as usual. Note that these steeletons love to use self-hitting spells, so beware if using universal traps!
Fight #4: Iron Sultan
Now for the final battle! Remember that once you defeat this boss, you cannot go back into the caves. It's a good idea to mark your location near the fight, because it's a very long walk back if you need to flee. While this boss doesn't have very high health, there are some tough cheats to deal with! Be prepared! Also double check that you have backpack space available for drops. This boss seems to drop just about everything from the Sinbad Hoard Pack.

Cheats:
- Clever, but this is why I have a golden dragon! At the start of the battle, the Golden Dragon will interrupt to cast a shadow sentinel intercept, absorbing 75% of damage from its allies.
- I am metal! If a Feint is used on the Iron Sultan, he will cast Cleanse Ward as many times as necessary to remove every trap on him, including if the Feint is protected with Indemnity. You can use other traps on the Iron Sultan (including prisms) and you can still Feint any other enemy.
- This one goes up to eleven! Every fourth round, the Iron Sultan will replace any existing global spell with a Storm one.
- Heavy fists of lead, fill my victims full of dread! Every fourth round after casting the Storm global, the Iron Sultan will cast Iron Sultan on an enemy. Beware! This is a powerful hit that can completely knock a wizard out.
- You're late! If you enter the battle late (excluding the first couple rounds), the Iron Sultan will cast Iron Sultan on you.
- The Iron Sultan is Beguile and Stun Immune.
Congratulations! You've completed the gauntlet and earned the Champion of Metallos badge!
Secret Boss: Metallossus
If you decide to battle the secret enemy for the gauntlet, you'll need to initially defeat the Metaltaur in the first battle, then make your way up into the cave and look for a set of wooden beams against rock. This is a secret wall that leads to the boss! Here's the tricky part. Most of the time, a Leadite will appear. Sometimes, Metallossus will appear. You'll have to exit and restart the dungeon if you want to try and get the secret boss to show up.
Thanks to Iridian Willowglen for letting me try out her gauntlet!
