Despite the fact that I just posted an hour or two ago, I'm here to bring you the latest: the test realm has arrived with items you're sure to love! With a new mount and several new signs, you might be interested, but there's one picture that'll have you wondering what's next!
Upon seeing the log in screen, you are asked to test:
Everyone loves an interesting photo, and seeing photo illustrations is neat, too. You can do so much with pictures that the possibilities are endless, but I decided to have a little fun with some of my images.
Take my Balance character for example. Looks the same as any wizard, right? Wrong! You can't hold a mount or a broomstick, specifically the Horned Sweeper, and yet my character is clearly doing just that.
The trick is to place your mount in your house, and while getting a shot from above would've been easiest, I did it the hard way got each part and put the together. If my Balance didn't already have such a unique staff, I might have used this picture of him on the header. It's fun to show of your wizard in a new way - with their favorite broom!
One of my favorite parts of every new world is exploring. I love seeing the scenery and new areas that Kingsisle created. Celestia hit the nail on the head as far as that goes. Instead of that same, old, street-with-a-unique-center kind of structure, Celestia s locations were each completely different and unique, while still flitting into one theme. I decided to create a Celestia Exploration Video, which took considerable time and effort, wrong files, unacceptable formats, etc., etc. Now if you'll notice, I didn't get my music to fade out, and you can now "Battle Monster like never before." I must say, I strongly dislike Windows Live Movie Maker. To be honest, I couldn't even view my video before it was completely published to YouTube because of its slow processing. In the end, though, the video turned out alright, and I'd be surprised if you've all seen the squid tentacle shooting through the air. Enjoy!
With few updates to the game recently other than new items to spend money on in the crown shop, players are left wanting new content and worlds to explore. Kingsisle does a decent job of offering small new things in between world releases, but sometimes it just isn't enough.
KI had lost many players this way, but it seems that they gain five for every one lost, so they remain unconcerned.
Chloe on Wizard101 Central asked users, "Bored players; what would make you play again?"
Many players offered advice and comments for Kingsisle to review including the following:
Today we've got all sorts of things happening around the spiral from the 2011 Cancer walk to Feedback Friday!
It's time for the 2011 Wizard101 Cancer Walk, hosted by Evil Theurgist! This year, wizards will gather to walk together around the world of Wizard City to raise awareness of cancer and its challenges, show support for cancer victims, survivors, and families, and to allow members of the community to get involved and make a difference. The walk takes place today at 6:00 PM EST and will follow the following route:
If you participated in Evil Theurgist's Banner and/or Twitter Contests, you had a chance to win Epic and Mega Bundles as well as crowns. Don't worry, the prizes are gone yet, there's still an opportunity to be one of 25 wizards who submits a winning screenshot for the After Shots Contest. More information at http://eviltheurgists.blogspot.com/2011/08/cancer-walk-2011.html.
Well I am slightly irritated with item limits at the moment! I set out to use a cheap house to make a complex maze and invested a bit of money in something that might be fun. To my great disappointment, I quickly realized that I had filled the area up with 150 items and could not place any more, but I had been doing quite well at making use of the small space for quite the maze.
If you're interested in trying the incomplete maze, let me know via comment, Twitter, or Facebook. The maze involves a couple of tight passages and a few Large Tree Stumps, but is mainly composed of Krok Balance Tablets.
Ok, so let's jump right in... a while back, we took a look at "The Unknown Pet Files," and to this day, that has been our most popular and most viewed post! Today we're looking back at the files to permanently close some of the mysteries up once and for all! Thanks to projects mentioned in the post, and a bit of good luck, a lot of these pets have been discovered. Allow me to reintroduce portions of"The Unknown Pet Files!"
First of all, the Red Ghoul is so much found as it is identified. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that the Life Ghoul from the Wyvern's Hoard is this pet. The pet has a pedigree of 39 and gives a Sprite card at Ancient. To see the full list of possible talents, go HERE.
I'm back again with another blog post with all sort of information that a blogger might want to know, beginning with the latest change to my blog: if you haven't noticed, the header image now changes each time you refresh the page or visit a different page on the site. At the moment, it's mostly experimenting, but you can see the latest about what I've learned above. Don't worry, you won't have to post one of those rare things called comments on Swordroll's Blog, I'll explain how it's done in this post.
Ok, so blogging tips and tricks, easy enough, right? There's nothing any decent blogger would need to know here, is there? Well, I think differently. There are plenty of things that can really play a part in a blogger's success and number of readers. I'll go over a few things you might need/want to know.
Remember Friday's blog post? It's time to see glitches mentioned in Part 1 of our decorating segment in action with a short tour of my jungle house! It's nothing special, but it's a good example of basic glitches.
Look for Galen, level 15.

The second pickup in Golem Court, Vampire Realm, will happen at 5:45 PM Central time.
The third and final pickup in Golem Court, Vampire Realm, will happen at 6:00 PM Central time.
Hello to all readers and fellow bloggers, I'm back with another reason to visit Swordroll's Blog frequently: The Necromancer's Diary, a comic that I've decided to create. These take quite a bit of time to make, having to capture, crop, possibly edit, and place each picture, not to mention other special effects and manually creating each speech bubble and adding all of the text. They look... just ok, at the moment, but I have a feeling that the title comic and format may change slightly over the course of the various release dates. And now I'd like to introduce The Necromancer's Diary! If you want this comic to continue, I need feedback via comments. If I do not receive enough feedback, I'll rethink doing the comic, as it is quite time-consuming, and I'm wondering how many people will read it.
I'm back again with all of the latest events and sales in Wizard101, along with a special on house decorating! Let's jump right in.
So, house decorating. BIG topic, divided into several parts. Decorating begins with selecting a house, a seemingly easy first step, but one of the hardest things to do in all actuality. I'm just going to sum up each house's ups and downs.
